In July 1995, the small town of Srebrenica witnessed the genocide of thousands of Muslim Bosniak boys and men. They were targeted for cultural and religious reasons by the Bosnian Serb Army of Republika Srpska during the Bosnian War.

This memorial event will include discussion on the Srebrenica massacre, the sharing of survivor testimonies as well as a symbolic walk around The Forks National Historic Site.

This event is organized in partnership with the Bosnia and Herzegovina Association of Manitoba.
