Annual public meetings

The annual public meeting is an opportunity to meet the senior management team and learn more about the ways in which the Museum is making an impact across Canada. Members of the team provide a review of the fiscal year, as well as plans and priorities for the upcoming year.

Board of Trustees

Under the Museums Act, the Museum's Board of Trustees serves as its governing body and is accountable to Parliament for the stewardship of the Museum through the Minister of Canadian Heritage. The Board is appointed by the Governor in Council.

Corporate reports

Corporate reports inform the public of the Museum's priorities, objectives, activities and financial performance, and provide clear lines of accountability and transparency in the application of rules and regulations.

Access to Information

The Museum's Access to Information and Privacy (ATIP) Secretariat is responsible for ensuring compliance with the Access to Information Act and the Privacy Act, as well as handling requests for information held by the Museum.
