If you could say one thing to an important Canadian from our past, what would it be? Would you thank them? Ask them a question? Challenge their actions or decisions?

In this activity, we invite you to share the one thing you would say to Nellie McClung, Viola Desmond, Louis Riel, Rosemary Brown, Elijah Harper, Pierre Trudeau or Pardeep Singh Nagra if you had the opportunity.

Winnipeg Philharmonic Choir

Join us at the Museum’s beautiful outdoor amphitheatre for a special performance by the Winnipeg Philharmonic Choir.

This performance is free of charge to attend.

What’s your story?

The Our Canada, My Story temporary exhibit features the contemporary human rights experiences of seven Canadians, as they go through successes and challenges.

In this activity, we invite you to take an instant photo and share your own experiences with human rights in commemoration of the 150th anniversary of Confederation.

Haudenosaunee Hand-eye Coordination Game

The Haudenosaunee are a First Nations people who live throughout Eastern Canada. Explore an example of a traditional toy used to teach hand-eye coordination for hunting, This type of toy can still be found across different societies and cultures in Canada today. Join us to create your own, personalized hand-eye coordination game!
