Family fun every Sunday!
Spend an afternoon with your family exploring the Museum. Every Sunday from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. our Discovery Activity is available. You can also participate in special programs designed for families and children of all ages that are free with admission!

Writing in Braille
Humans are excellent problem solvers, even going so far as to create new forms of writing to overcome challenges. If a person is blind, they can use Braille to communicate. Come and learn about the history of Braille and write a message of your choice using this dynamic language.

What’s in a nation?
Over the past 150 years, Canada has been a safe haven for many people. Millions have come to Canada to start new lives. This activity celebrates what it means to be Canadian and offers participants a chance to share a favorite moment, action, or symbol about Canada with new Canadians.
