Family Day: Family fun every Sunday!

Spend an afternoon with your family exploring the Museum. Every Sunday from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. our scavenger hunt is available. You can also participate in special programs designed for families and children of all ages. 


Discovery Activity

Explore the Canadian Museum for Human Rights! Our family-friendly scavenger hunt takes you through the Museum’s galleries on a journey of discovery and fun!  
10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Ask for your booklet at the main coat check on Level 1.



Participate in a workshop on traditional First Nations Cree beading with our specially trained Indigenous Interpreters. Explore the history and meaning behind beading for diverse Indigenous cultures. Learn how to create your own piece of beadwork! 
12 p.m. to 2 p.m. in the Indigenous Perspectives gallery on Level 2. 


Project of Heart Mosaic

Project of Heart is a national youth program that explores the history and legacy of residential schools in Canada. Help us make a mosaic to honour survivors and lives that were lost.

2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the Actions Count gallery on Level 4.
