Traditional Cree Style Beading

Observe a workshop on traditional First Nations Cree beading with our specially trained Indigenous Interpreters. Explore the history and meaning behind beading for diverse Indigenous cultures. Learn how to create your own piece of beadwork!

Haudenosaunee Hand‐eye Coordination Game

The Haudenosaunee are a First Nations people who live throughout Eastern Canada. Explore an example of a traditional toy used to teach hand‐eye coordination for hunting, This type of toy can still be found across different societies and cultures in Canada today. Join us to create your own, personalized hand‐eye coordination game!

Discovery Activity

Explore the Canadian Museum for Human Rights! Our family‐friendly Discovery activity takes you through the Museum’s galleries on a journey of discovery and fun! 


10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Ask for your Discovery booklet at the main coat check on Level 1.
