The Museum’s new temporary exhibition, Sight Unseen, features international photography by blind artists – challenging visitors to examine their assumptions about ability and perception. The year 2016 is the 10th anniversary of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.

The Bruce Hall guest lecture and the Sight Unseen exhibit are supported by the Manitoba Association of Optometrists. As the regulatory body for optometry in Manitoba, the Manitoba Association of Optometrists promotes eye health and urges Manitobans to make eye exams part of their preventative healthcare routines.
