Let me tell you my story

Brad Leitch / Red Threads of Peace Playback Theatre

An afternoon of theatre performances by Red Threads of Peace acting troupe

Join us for an afternoon of theatre exploring the experiences of newcomers to Canada.

This original theatre performance is based on the interactive Playback Theatre method. The Museum invites newcomers and refugees to tell their stories of coming to Canada. These stories will then  be shared and “played back” in a live theatre performance by the Red Threads of Peace acting troupe.

Bonface Beti, whose own story as a refugee is featured in the Level 5 Rights Today gallery, and Brad Leitch, with Red Threads of Peace, will lead  the  performance.

This performance is one part of a celebration taking place in communities throughout Manitoba for Peace Days from September 15 to 24. For a full calendar of events, please visit http://www.peacedays.ca/
