National Story Blanket

See the blanket on display or take part in a youth program

The Museum is proud to display the National Story Blanket for a limited time only, in partnership with Canadian Roots Exchange.

Indigenous and non-Indigenous youth created this large quilt as participants in the Youth Reconciliation Initiative leadership program.

The quilt features different visions for reconciliation and decolonization from youth in communities from Vancouver to Rankin Inlet to Halifax.

The National Story Blanket is travelling to communities across Canada between September 2017 and April 2018.
