Teacher Appreciation Days
Join us for Teacher Appreciation Days October 22-23, when we open our doors to teachers, school leaders and their friends and families* for a free visit.
- Visit all 11 galleries, including the Expressions gallery, on Level 6, which features Empowering Women: Artisan Cooperatives That Transform Communities – only here until January 8, 2017.
- Take a special educator tour, showing how our exhibits feature in school programs and highlighting curricula links.
- Meet the Museum’s education staff and learn about new educational programming for 2016-2017.
We’re open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on both Saturday and Sunday. Drop in anytime – you’re welcome to stay for a few hours, or stay for the day! This is a great opportunity to explore the Museum, learn about resources for schools and talk with our staff.
*All teachers, school administrators and other educators may bring up to four guests at no charge on the dates and times listed above. No pre-registration is required.
