How is the international community joining efforts with Ukrainians to help protect sites, monuments and heritage collections? What can we all do in times of conflict to uphold individual and collective rights?
The interactive program will be held online via Zoom. It will include a Q&A session with those in attendance.
Panelists
The panel will consist of representatives from the International Council on Monuments and Sites (ICOMOS), the International Council of Museums Canada (ICOM), the Ukrainian Museum of Canada, Ontario Branch, the International Criminal Court, and the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy, Ukraine.
Moderator
Award‐winning journalist Marcy Markusa is the host of Information Radio on CBC Radio One in Winnipeg. Marcy won a Gabriel Award in 2012 for hosting Resolve, a CBC Radio One special. Marcy is the 2016 recipient of the YMCA‐YWCA Winnipeg Women of Distinction in Public Relations and Communications.
