What is the daily threat we face from nuclear weapons? And how should we respond?

Join us to explore these questions during a film screening and panel discussion on October 28.

The evening will open with a screening of An Ordinary Insanity, directed by Oscar‐nominated filmmaker Judith Ehrlich. The documentary provides a stark, compelling look at global nuclear dangers, through interviews with renowned whistleblower Daniel Ellsberg. Ellsberg is primarily known for his release of the top‐secret Pentagon Papers, an action that helped bring an end to the Vietnam War. Few also know that his role at the Rand Corporation included planning nuclear war on behalf of the United States – experiences he brings to the forefront in discussing the contemporary threats we face from nuclear weapons today.

The film screening will be followed by a panel discussion, “Legal Obligations, Human Rights and Indigenous Worldviews.”

The program will include an interactive session, giving the audience an opportunity to reflect on the discussion, connect with fellow attendees, and commit to tangible action toward peace.
