Love in a Dangerous Time: Tour with Intention Program

In our workplaces, each of us can contribute to dignity and rights for all if we choose to—and if we know how.

The Love in a Dangerous Time Tour with Intention program invites participants to embrace dignity and rights for all as a guiding principle for their everyday actions in the workplace, drawing inspiration from the story of Canada’s LGBT Purge and the people who fought for change. This Tour with Intention includes a guided tour of the Love in a Dangerous Time: Canada’s LGBT Purge exhibition and a facilitated intention‐setting session in one of the Museum’s private spaces.

Program Messages

  • Setting the intention to proactively contribute to dignity and rights for all in the workplace enables us to create workplaces where every individual can feel recognized, included, connected and empowered.
  • As individuals, we influence how others experience the workplace by how we choose to relate to, interact with and support one another every day.
  • Through our everyday actions, we can make change toward dignity and rights for all in the workplace and beyond.
