At the Museum, we celebrate International Women’s Day from March 3 to March 10, 2019 (excluding March 4, when the Museum is closed).

Location:
CMHR, Bonnie & John Buhler Hall, Level 1

Take a special guided tour with a focus on women’s rights through the powerful stories and inspiring contributions of women in Canada and around the world towards gender equality.

Discover the life’s work of Betty Friedan, Jeannette Corbiere Lavell and Winnie Mandela among others.

This 75‐minute tour with one of our interpreters will stop at exhibits focused on women’s rights located throughout the Museum galleries including Mandela: Struggle for Freedom.

After the tour, take the time to explore on your own. Talk to our in‐gallery staff to learn more.

The tours will be offered daily from March 3 to March 10, 2019 

(excluding March 4, when the Museum is closed):

1 p.m. in French
