Evans Coffie, originally from Ghana, West Africa, was plucked from his small village to train with the National Dance Company, where he was a principal dancer for more than 11 years.

While touring the world with the dance company he discovered the beauty of Canada and decided to become part of its landscape. Coffieman was born, performing African fusion rhythms and rocking African shows for all to enjoy.

Coffieman now tours the country, entertaining families wherever he goes. From his calypso, reggae, and highlife music from Ghana, to his animal calls and fancifully fast fingers on the drum, there is something for everyone.
