Join us for Teacher Appreciation Days October 20–21, 2018, when we open our doors to teachers, school leaders and their friends and families* for a free visit.

PCL Terrace on Level 5

  • Visit our galleries, including our Level 1 gallery, which features Mandela, Struggle for Freedom 
  • During your visit, stop by our Klaponski and Moore Knowledge Commons Terrace on Level 5 to meet the Museum’s education staff, enjoy a few light refreshments and learn about our educational programming.
  • We’re open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on both Saturday and Sunday. Drop in anytime – you’re welcome to stay for a few hours, or stay for the day! This is a great opportunity to explore the Museum, learn about resources for schools and talk with our staff.
  • Receive a 20% discount on a membership purchase (valid for an Adult, Couple or Family membership)

*All teachers, school administrators and other educators may bring up to four guests at no charge on the dates and times listed above. Please bring your Teacher Certificate, or MTS card.
