This Friday, we invite you to experience the tango – a universal human language of movement and love that UNESCO has declared part of the world’s “intangible cultural heritage.”

Celebrated artists Tango de Oro (Roxana and Fabian Belmonte, originally from Argentina, now based in Toronto) will dance and play the bandoneon, an accordion‐type instrument used for tango music in Latin America.

Then it’s your turn! Discover the human connection of this art form during a drop‐in introduction to tango for absolute beginners.

Drinks (cash bar) and snacks will be served with music in Bonnie & John Buhler Hall. Explore the Museum’s incredible architecture and exhibits at your leisure, ascending on illuminated alabaster ramps.

Share your night at the Museum by tagging us on Instagram @cmhr_mcdp or use #FridayNightRights #AtCMHR for a chance to be featured on our feed and in our stories.
