Join us for this annual festival of ideas which is celebrated around the world. In Manitoba, we are exploring ecology in our community and country through this year’s theme, (Re)build together.

Watch a film, enjoy a performance, attend a panel discussion, or join a workshop and create your own piece to take home.

Since 2016, la Nuit des idées has brought together French and other voices from around the world in dialogue about challenges and opportunities in our society.

This event is organized in partnership with Alliance Française du Manitoba and Institut français.

What if telling a good story and showing viable solutions were the best ways to solve ecological, economic and social crises around the world?

When: 5:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. This documentary will play in a loop with a run time of two hours.

Panel discussion: Biodiversity in the Arctic

Join researchers specializing in climate change and its impact on Earth, people, animals and vegetation as they share their perspectives and answer your questions.

Moderator: Jean‐Eric Ghia, Professor, University of Manitoba, Honorary Consul of France
