Environmental justice is a concept which recognizes that climate change and environmental harm tend to have a greater impact on vulnerable and marginalized communities. Often, these communities have no access to the decision‐making process about environmental issues that directly affect their lives. Environmental justice activists seek to balance these inequalities.

This resource guide provides a selection of books, articles, media reports and more that focus on the role of young, Indigenous and racialized people in the environmental justice movement.
