Born in Rwanda, Lisa Ndejuru is an interdisciplinary artist and scholar who has worked with the Rwandan diaspora community in Canada for over two decades. With a background in psychotherapy and conflict resolution, she organizes arts‐based projects for survivors of atrocities that have helped to heal and empower both individuals and communities in the aftermath of large‐scale political violence.
Ndejuru is a member of the Ordre des psychologues du Québec, and a member of the Centre for Oral History and Digital Storytelling at Concordia University in Montreal.
