Due to public health risks associated with the COVID‐19 pandemic, all national museums of Canada – including the Canadian Museum for Human Rights (CMHR) – have made the decision to close their doors to visitors and all other groups, effective tomorrow (Saturday, March 14) until further notice.
“We regret the impact of this decision on individuals, families, students and groups who use our facilities,” said CMHR president and CEO John Young. “However, we believe this decision is in the best interests of all communities we serve.”
The CMHR will continue to monitor the situation and will communicate with the public through its website at www.humanrights.ca and all of its social media channels.
ERA Bistro and the Museum's Boutique will also be closed.
