Access to Information and Privacy Act Annual Reports

Under section 94 of the Access to Information Act and section 72 or the Privacy Act, the Canadian Museum for Human Rights is required to prepare a report on the administration of these Acts between April 1 of the preceding year and ending on March 31 of the current year. Annual Reports must then be tabled in both the House of Commons and the Senate of Canada on any of the first 15 sitting days on which that house is sitting after September 1 of the year in which the report is prepared.

The Canadian Museum for Human Rights posts our Annual Reports on the administration of Access to Information and Privacy Acts after they have been tabled in the House of Commons and the Senate of Canada. All Statistical reports are included in these publications, separated from the Annual Report. Any supplementary reports are included in these reports, should they have been part of the reporting process for any given year.
