Become a Museum member. Be inspired

Amazing architecture. Exceptional exhibits. All this and more at the Canadian Museum for Human Rights. 

Membership provides almost limitless opportunities for inspiring encounters with human rights. Visit as often as you like. Memberships are available for purchase at the Museum or by phoning the Membership Office at 289-2231 or 204-289-2000.

Base Memberships

Student $36 Age 7+ (Those aged 7 to 15 require parental/guardian signature; those aged 16+ require valid student ID.)
Senior $36 Age 65+
Senior Couple $64 Two adults (one adult age 65+) living within one household
Couple $94 Two adults (age 18 to 64) living within one household
Family $99 Two persons age 18 and up to six persons age 17 or younger living within one household

Your annual membership includes:

  • A personalized membership card, providing unlimited general admission to the galleries. Access is valid for the person shown on the membership card. Please note that membership does not include participation in the Museum’s school program.
  • Special pricing for Level 1 temporary exhibits and for programs and tours
  • Invitation to members-only events and activities
  • Pre-purchase and early registration for Museum activities and special events*

Individuals living outside of Manitoba will receive a 10% discount. This discount applies for all six base category memberships, and can be purchased either in person at the Museum or by calling 204-289-2231 or 1-877-877-6037.

Add a person who does not live in your household onto your Family membership for $20 per person. Valid for Family category memberships only. For more information, please visit the Ticketing and Information desk during your next visit or call 204-289-2231 or 1-877-877-6037.

Sustaining Memberships

Sustaining memberships are for groups of individuals interested in combining a charitable donation to the Museum with their membership. Charitable donation receipts will be issued for the tax-deductible portion of these memberships. Categories are defined by the number of people participating, not by age nor living arrangement

Corporate Memberships

Show your organization’s commitment to human rights by purchasing a corporate membership.

The corporate membership is our only membership to offer fully transferable membership cards. These cards are an easy way to give employees, clients, and guests free, unlimited access to the Museum’s core galleries.

Please note that corporate membership cards are fully transferable, but may not be used for the Museum’s school programs, including self-guided tours for schools. The same applies to corporate memberships purchased by a school (elementary, middle or high school) or school division. Visit the School programs section of our website to learn how students can experience the Museum’s curriculum-based school programs.
