On Truth and Reconciliation Day, join us for a family‐friendly game of Canoes and Rapids!

Participants will be encouraged to learn about Manitoba Indigenous peoples: Anishinaabe, Cree, Dene, Dakota, Inuit and Red River Métis. Each game question can have Indigenous words, actions or pieces of history.

Lean on your teammates to answer the harder questions and practise the engaging challenges such as learning Indigenous words like wâpoš.

The point of the game is not competition but rather learning truth and interconnections.

Every roll of the dice is a chance to listen, learn and connect as we weave through the game board’s waterways. When participants finish the game, they can enjoy a cup of blueberry tea.

Come and enjoy our canoe ride but don’t get caught in the rapids!
