The Power of Community: Seeking Justice after the Genocide against the Tutsi in Rwanda is the newest original short documentary produced by the Canadian Museum for Human Rights. Developed in collaboration with PAGE‐Rwanda on the 25th year since the genocide, it features interviews with community members involved in the deportation case against Léon Mugesera and the criminal case against Désiré Munyaneza.
A moderated panel discussion will follow the film. This event is primarily in French.
Running time of the film is 14 minutes.
This event is hosted in partnership with PAGE‐Rwanda, the Raoul Wallenberg Centre for Human Rights and the Montreal Holocaust Museum.
The next screening of The Power of Community will be in Winnipeg in the Breaking the Silence gallery on Level 4 at the Museum.
