In‐gallery programs and activities: Tuesday, April 1 to Saturday, April 5, 2025

Join us for special activities taking place during spring break.

From Saturday, March 29 to Sunday, April 6, 2025, admission is free for kids 12 and under.

And on Sunday, April 6, admission is free for everyone!

From Tuesday through Saturday, April 1–5, you will also find free family‐friendly arts, crafts, reading, guided activities, and performances.

Make a statement!

When: Daily April 1–5, 10 a.m.–4 p.m.

Where: Stuart Clark Garden of Contemplation, Level 3

What: Kids of all ages can express themselves by making a button about a human rights cause that matters to them. 

They can also learn how writers and artists use comic books and graphic novels to share human rights stories—and create their own comic strip about human rights. 

While you’re in the Garden, be sure to visit our Book Nook, where you can read children’s books related to human rights.

Get creative with Meraki Theatre

When: April 3 and 4, 10 a.m.–3 p.m.

Where: Bonnie & John Buhler Hall, Level 1

Join Meraki Theatre for activities, crafts and theatre games offered in English and French.

Drawing the truth: Eight meaningful graphic novels

Discover comic books about rights, injustice, activism and hope.

Upstander Showcase

Find out how you can participate in the Upstander Showcase, an event that empowers students to recognize injustice and use their strengths to create change.
